CASE — Center of Advanced Simulation & Education

Advanced simulation and medical education

CASE is a multidisciplinary medical simulation center providing high quality education through state-of-the-art simulation systems. It consists of two departments: the medical simulation training center and the advanced endoscopic/robotic surgery training center. Experiential learning is delivered via standardized patients, task trainers, surgical simulators, high fidelity manikins and virtual/augmented reality modules, across a wide range of medical specialties and inter-professional programmes. Courses serve both undergraduate and postgraduate trainees, improving sensory and psychomotor skills through problem oriented education and strengthening teamwork in realistic environments.
